Inspired by the universal human gesture of an embrace, "Cradle Me" was conceived as an architectural tribute to connection and solace, particularly in response to the isolation experienced during the COVID-19 pandemic. This structure was not tied to a single geographic location but rather to an emotional state—an experiential sanctuary meant to be felt as much as seen. The chapel’s structural framework was designed to physically and symbolically envelop visitors, offering a quiet refuge for reflection. As one approached, the form unfolded, gradually revealing itself in a deeply personal yet universally resonant experience.
